Matthew Adebiyi has recently been charged with the 2018 murder of Joshua Boadu. It can be confirmed that he has been extradited from Nigeria after the West African nations police force received a tip-off that he was a wanted fugitive.

Joshua, locally known as SJ was stabbed on Linsey Street, Bermondsey, June 11 2018. He was taken to hospital in a critical condition with multiple injuries to his chest, neck and arm. He would unfortunately die ten days later.

Adebiyi was remanded in custody and will appear at Uxbridge Magistrates’ Court later today.

Two others have previously been convicted of SJ’s murder. In September 2019, Denilson Davis (10.07.98), of Hemel Hempstead, and a 16-year-old boy from the Southwark area were convicted at the Old Bailey.

Matthew performed under the name MadMax and was part of the UK Drill collective Zone 2.
