A man who rammed his SUV into Liverpool fans during their parade over their Premier League title win has been arrested.
Images and videos have been circulating social media from a variety of angles.
Merseyside Police say that a 53-year-old man from Liverpool has been arrested following a road traffic collision on Water Street, situated near the popular shopping destination The Strand.

The road has been cordened off by emegency services and it is unclear whether anyone is injured.
Police cars, ambulances, fire engines and an air ambulance are all at the scene, with dozens of emergency service personnel on scene.

North West Ambulance Service said: “NWAS is supporting an incident in Liverpool city centre, following reports of a road traffic collision. We are currently assessing the situation and working with other members of the emergency services.
“Our priority is to ensure people receive the medical help they need as quickly as possible. Updates will be published on this page and Mersey Police as we know more.”
Prime minister Sir Keir Starmer said: “The scenes in Liverpool are appalling — my thoughts are with all those injured or affected. I want to thank the police and emergency services for their swift and ongoing response to this shocking incident. I’m being kept updated on developments and ask that we give the police the space they need to investigate.”
Furious fans were seen trying to get the suspect who rammed into fellow supporters but were pushed back by police officers.
