Dave & Cench’s albums rank in the top 3 biggest cassette sales

Sales of cassettes have seen massive growth in 2025 and are at their highest level in the UK for over 20 years, confirmed by Official Charts Company data.

Dave’s Number 1 album ‘The Boy Who Played The Harp’ landed in second place with 15,800 sales and trailed behind Robbie Williams which stood at around 21,070 and is now level with The Beatles for the most UK Number 1 albums in UK chart history.

Central Cee’s debut album ‘Can’t Rush Greatness’ sat at third place after shifting around 9,500 cassette.

Sam Fender’s dropped the biggest British album of the year with ‘People Watching’, ranks fourth in terms of cassette sale, whilst Sabrina Carpenter, who claimed the biggest international cassette album for the second consecutive year this time with Man’s Best Friend in fifth.
