Chris Brown has once again found himself in a heap of controversy — and it’s led him to seemingly deactivate his Instagram account.
The R&B star appeared to shut down his page after facing backlash over accusations of colorism that surfaced online after a viral concert moment.
The drama began after artist performed his hit song “Take You Down” where he pulled Kayla Nicole, sports journalist and ex-girlfriend of Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, on stage for a sensual dance routine.

The clip quickly spread across social media, with some users accusing Brown of favoring lighter-skinned women during his shows and past music videos — a criticism he’s faced before.
Brown immediately took to his Instagram Story to address the accusations head-on saying:
“MISS ME WITH COLORIST RAGE BAITING!!”
Shortly after, he added another message hinting at his next move:
“I’ma take a break from social media. Y’all done pissed me off long enough.”
Not long after those posts, Brown’s Instagram account was no longer active, sparking even more conversations among fans and critics alike.
