UK Drill rapper Dsavv, was caught today after he escaped from HMP YOI Feltham whilst on hospital visit yesterday on February 10.

UK Drill rapper Dsavv, better known as Daniel Boakye, went missing yesterday after slipping away from prison officers while under escort at West Middlesex Hospital.

The North London rapper was sentenced to six years and five months for conspiracy to commit robbery at Wood Green Court.

The court heard how Boakye, Justin Popoola, Nathan Mohalland and a 17-year-old – carried out a spate of robberies across London from June 2021 to January 2022.

They threatened victims with knives and forced them to hand over phones and passcodes needed to unlock the devices.

They then stole over £155,000 worth of cryptocurrency by transferring the digital currency to hot wallets.

The trio would be caught after they used stolen bank information to order takeaways to their homes.

Dsavv comes from the popular UK Drill collective ‘OFB’ which represents the Broadwater Farm estate. Popular figures such as Headie One come from there; Additionally Mark Duggan also hailed from the infamous estate.

A Prison Service spokesperson said: “We are urgently working with the Metropolitan Police to recapture this prisoner and investigating how he was able to escape from hospital.”

A Met Police spokesperson told The Sun:

“Shortly after 03:30hrs on Tuesday, 10 February, the Met was informed by the Prison Service that a prisoner had escaped custody while under the care of prison staff at a west London hospital.

“The prisoner is a 21-year-old man. While the investigation proceeds at pace, we will not be able to provide further details.

“Officers are carrying out urgent enquiries in an effort to locate him and return him to custody.”

Since yesterday he has been caught. A source told The Sun that:

“He was due for a move to a catergory B prison and then a deportation centre before being deported to Ghana.

“He obviously doesn’t want to be sent there and that’s why he escaped.

“But he will still be sent to Ghana, in the short term his life is about to become a lot tougher.

“He will go straight to a tough jail like Belmarsh or Wandsworth and classed as a high-escape risk to be kept in an ultra-secure unit.

“He will also have to wear a jumpsuit to show he’s at risk of escaping”
