According to a study published by Diabetes.co.uk, the average penis size in the UK has grown by almost 10% in just two years.

The average size of a penis has went from 5.17 inches to 5.63 inches. That’s a 0.46 inch increase, and while that might not sound wild at first glance, it’s enough to shift the UK into the top 10 globally for growth; however the UK still sits 60th overall size rankings.

Experts are suggesting that Ozempic, the injectable weight loss drug originally developed for type 2 diabetes but now trending for its dramatic slimming effects could be the culprit.

According to Dr. Richard Viney, a UK-based urological surgeon, the theory isn’t that Ozempic is directly making penises longer. Instead, it’s that as men lose abdominal fat, meaning more of the shaft becomes visible.

Not everyone is in agreement with the data used in the study as it is self-reported, which opens the door to exaggeration of ones penis size. Sample sizes weren’t uniform across years, either. So while the growth may be real, it may also be a reflection of perception.

Some doctors are calling for more structured clinical studies before anyone rushes to the pharmacy hoping for a two-in-one miracle.
