Wicked was the most popular film in the UK during 2025 according to The British Association for Screen Entertainment (BASE) which is in association with the Official Charts Company.
The film follows Elphaba and Glinda, played by musicians Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande respectively as they navigate chaotic life at Shiz University and beyond.
Filmed entirely in the UK and also starring leading-man Jonathan Bailey, Wicked quickly soared to the top of the sales charts in 2025, selling & renting 1.4m units which equates to a value of £17.7m.
