Eight men including Fredo are accused of attempting to buy guns with the aim to shoot Digga D in an Indictment:
Marvin Bailey who is professionally known as ‘Fredo’ has officially been named on the indictment as a co-conspirator.
Fredo and his co-defendants deny these charges as well as another charge of conspiracy to contravene the prisons act, namely by smuggling mobile phones into prisons.
Prosecutor Ian McLoughlin has opened the trial of eight men who alleged members of the Harrow Road Boys (HRB) gang – accused of conspiring to possess a firearm with intent.
Mr McLoughlin said that HRB (aka pattern gang) have issues with Digga D due to him being from the opposing gang known as CGM who are based.
Mr McLoughlin added that in October 2022 police arrested HRB members and the Met found evidence of a snapchat group chat which includes all defendants named.
The prosecutor stated that the jury will hear evidence of the alleged gang members obtaining and storing firearms and ammunition as well as mobile phones which were to be given to gang members in prison.
Lastly the prosecutor said that gang members were told to donate £250 to go towards the cost of buying a gun.
The retrial is underway and is meant to last until July.
Fredo is allegedly on the run for this case as he isn’t in the country so hasn’t been formally charged; however he may return to the country if the other defendants beat their case.
Chris Summers (aka Total Crime) has been covering this case extensively and does so for other cases.
