UK Drill rapper Digga D has officially been released from prison after serving his time for importing cannabis.
Digga D was sentenced to 3 years & 11 January this year for conspiring to import nearly 50kg of cannabis into the UK.
The rapper who’s real name is Rhys Herbert has came out after doing half his sentenced (when you account for time in remand).
The rappers defence was that it was ‘a benefit’ to buy his cannabis in bulk as he could afford it and it proved cheaper.
Late last month Digga D appeared in court for a Proceeds of Crime Act (POCA) hearing was ordered to calculate the amount of money he made from his crimes and to recover those proceeds.
He was also in the headlines not long ago after HRB gang members conspired to shoot him.
Members of that gang got 116 years in prison collectively.
We look forward to his new releases soon as he hasn’t dropped music since his sentencing.
