The singer, was due to perform at Glasgow’s Hampden Park as part of the “Breezy Bowl” tour this summer.
However The Sun reported that Brown was arrested at a five-star hotel in Manchester at around 2am.
According to the newspaper the Chris is being held on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm to a music producer in a bottle attack in a Central London nightclub in February 2023.
After Brown flew into the UK on a private jet on Wednesday, The Metropolitan Police travelled to Manchester to locate the singer.

The Met Police said: ‘’A 36-year-old man was arrested at a hotel in Manchester shortly after 02:00hrs on Thursday, 15 May on suspicion of grievous bodily harm.
‘’He has been taken into custody where he remains.
“The arrest relates to an incident at a venue in Hanover Square on 19 February 2023.
‘’The investigation is being led by detectives from the Central West Area Basic Command Unit.’’
Brown had been set to play two nights at the Co-Op Live in Manchester and the Principality Stadium in Cardiff.
He also had shows set for London and Birmingham, with his Glasgow gig scheduled for July 1.
These gigs are now at risk of being cancelled.
