The late Chadwick Boseman gets Hollywood Walk Of Fame Star

Chadwick Boseman has been posthumously awarded a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, five years after his passing at the age of 43.

The late actor, celebrated globally for his impactful performances and cultural influence, was honoured during an ceremony held on 20 November on Hollywood Boulevard.

Boseman’s widow, Taylor Simone Ledward-Boseman, delivered a heartfelt tribute to her late husband at the event.

Boseman, who passed away in 2020 after privately battling with colon cancer, was remembered in an emotional ceremony.

His widow said:

“We love you, we miss you”, said his wife, Simone Ledward-Boseman, as she paid tribute to the actor’s legacy.”

Also present were several of his long-time friends and collaborators. Attendees included the director of Black Panther, Ryan Coogler, as well as cast members Letitia Wright and Michael B. Jordan, who worked closely with Boseman throughout the creation of the groundbreaking Marvel franchise.

Acclaimed actress Viola Davis, who starred alongside Boseman in Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom, was also in attendance to pay her respects.
