The worlds biggest Afrobeats and Amapiano festival is back with new dates and boasts exciting line-ups.
Afro Nation 2026 is set to return to Portugal’s Praia da Rocha Beach, Portimão, from Friday 3rd – Sunday 5th July 2026.
Their will be three stages this year including ‘The Lit Stage’.
The Lit Stage:
Nigerian superstar Asake returns, whilst South Africa’s Tyla makes her headline debut. Completing the trio is none other than Afrobeats pioneer and veteran Wizkid.
The festival will also feature UK rap star Darkoo, Nigeria’s Olamide, French rapper Niska.
Gunna & Mariah the scientist will make their debuts to the festival; In addition rising stars Young Jonn, Denden, and Djodje will be in attendance.
Piano People Stage:
The Piano People stage has a serious line-up with Madumane, Focalistic, and the highly-anticipated reunion of Amaroto.
Daliwonga, Mawhoo, Mellow & Sleazy, LeeMcKrazy, and Zee Nxumalo will be adding depth to the stage.
The Afrocentric Stage:
A brand new addition to Afronation is The Afrocentric Stage which will be playing Afro House and Afro Tech as well as experimental Amapiano.
This seems like a commitment by Afro Nation to platform Africa’s unique soundscape and rhythm and promote the stars of tomorrow.
