Fakemink under scrutiny for homophobia amid Nettspend beef

Fakemink is under some scrutiny by music fans and critics for his alleged homophobia as well as saying “i’m barely a rapper i’m an artist”.

Fakemink who performed at Wireless alongside Drake seemingly sent shots at Nettspend saying “You won’t ever catch man in a dress” or “doing ungodly sh*t”.

Many also took issue with him saying he’s “Barely a rapper” as that statement seemed like a way to undermine the UK Rap industry and culture.

Others compared him to Post Malone who many argue used rap as a way to make it before deviating into Pop & Country music.

Blackboyfly on Twitter said “idk how we let this guy become the biggest in the scene lmao Vince Staples gets proven right everyday”.

Many fans went on to say that Fakeminks statement is an example of anti-blackness and a way to imply that rap isn’t art.

Underground artist htmljones said that he copied swag from Transwomen.
