Hackney Man jailed for 18 years for sexual offences against kids

Barthimaus Ehiemere, 25 from Hackney used Snapchat to groom young boys into accepting payments for pictures and sexual abuse, he was convicted of 47 sex offences and jailed for 18 years this week.

At Snaresbrook Crown Court on Thursday, 20 November, Barthimaus Ehiemere, 25 (13.07.2000), of Chart Street, Hackney, N1, was sentenced to 18 years’ imprisonment with four years on licence.

He will also be required to register as a sex offender for life.

On Thursday, 31 July, a jury at Snaresbrook Crown Court found Ehiemere guilty of 15 charges.

He had previously pleaded guilty to 32 offences – including multiple counts of rape, as well as sexual assault and making indecent images of children.

The charges relate to seven victims who were aged between 12 and 16 at the time.
