Dubai princess Sheikha Mahra Mohammed Rashed Al Maktoum, daughter of Dubai’s ruler Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, is engaged to Moroccan-American rapper French Montana.

The announcement comes a year after she ended her first marriage in a public post on Instagram.

A representative for Montana, whose real name is Karim Kharbouch, confirmed the engagement to TMZ on Wednesday.

The proposal took place in June during Paris Fashion Week, where the 40-year-old rapper made his runway debut for 3.Paradis’ Ready-to-Wear Spring/Summer 2026 show.

In a now-deleted Instagram post, she wrote:

“Dear Husband. As you are occupied with other companions, I hereby declare our divorce. I divorce you, I divorce you, I divorce you.”

The former couple share a one-year-old daughter, whose name has not been made public.

French Montana, best known for his hit singles Unforgettable, Don’t Panic and No Stylist, was first linked to the princess in October 2024.

Since then, they have been spotted together at the Pont des Arts in Paris, on desert camel rides, and dining in Dubai and Morocco.

Earlier this year, they made headlines when they were seen holding hands during Paris Fashion Week.
