UK Drill rapper Bailey Mckenzie, better known as Billy Billions, has been sentenced to 39 years after being found guilty of conspiracy to murder.
The attack police claimed McKenzie orchestrated took place on 14 December 2020 on Middleton Road. These attacks saw a man endure serious injuries.
Billy Billions is part of the UK Drill collective ’98s’ which encompasses both the E9 and E8 postcodes of Hackney (Homerton and Holly Street).
He will join fellow 98s members KO, Hitman who got 37 & 38 years earlier this year and DA who got 28 years in 2023.
Although Bailey McKenzie wasn’t present when these attacks took place, it is said that he played a “Key-role”
The rapper who is of a mixed racial background called out what he perceived as racial bias after receiving the verdict.
He asked: “If I was white would you send me down?”.
The rapper has always maintained his innocence saying his references to alleged acts of violence were attempts to boost his music career.
He posted this on his Instagram:

In his caption he accused police officers DC Clinton Lennon & PC Maria Fineberg of being corrupt and lead prosecutor in his case Alexandra Healy KC of knowingly creating a false narrative based on lies.
