Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs’ lawyers have asked for a reduced prison sentence for the disgraced music mogul after he was found guilty of two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution in July.

Diddy was convicted of the prostitution-related offence, but was acquitted on the more serious charges of sex trafficking & racketeering.

The 55-year-old faces up to 20 years in prison for his crimes, however, Diddy pleaded not guilty at the time, with it said he was looking to appeal his conviction.

Recent court filings saw solicitors request a US judge impose a 14-month prison sentence on the producer following his conviction earlier this year.

They’re also suggesting supervised release with mandatory drug treatment, therapy as well as group counselling. Comb’s Lawyers said that this would be “sufficient, but not greater than necessary,”.

According to the Mirror prosecutors have until September 29 to recommend a sentence.

Diddy is expected to be sentenced on October 3rd by U.S. District Judge Arun Subramanian.
