Bob Vylan to headline Burn It Down Festival after controversy

The punk duo will headline the punk, alt, metal, and rock festival in Torquay, Devon.

London punk band Bob Vylan have been announced as Burn It Down Festival’s Thursday headliner. 

Burn It Down takes over three grassroots venues in Torquay – The Foundry, Attic, and Apple & Parrot – from Thursday 28th to Saturday 30th August 2025.

Bob Vylan tops the bill on Thursday 28th, with more names to be announced. 

Known for their politically-charged tunes that fuses punk with other genres like hip-hop/grime and electronic elements, their bangers like ‘We Live Here’, ‘He’s A Man’, ‘Dream Big’, and ‘Wicked & Bad’.

This comes months after police confirmed that they were being criminally investigated at Glastonbury.

When performing at the festival the lead singer Bobby Vylan started chants consisting of “Free Palestine” and “Death, Death to the IDF”

Their solidarity with Palestine caused major pushback and led to their US visas revoked.
