UK Rapper Blanco has really left the hood and elevated as far as he could.
Blanco who hails from Kennington has consistently been dropping bangers, his latest release ‘Regime’ is no exception.
The rapper provided us with entertainment and enlightenment in this song saying “Labels talk while paying me P’s White complex — can they save me? Save me, please”.
This song was dedicated to the Democratic Republic Of Congo’s revolutionary leader Patrice Lumumba who was assassinated by Belgium at the time.
The reason Lumumba was assassinated was due to him being against colonial exploitation of his countries resources and people.
Congo mines majority of the worlds Cobalt alongside an estimated $24 trillion in mineral ores.
Despite this vast mineral wealth it remains one of the worlds top 5 for poorest country’s as 75% of the population lives in extreme poverty.
