Axel Rudakubana has reportedly thrown scalding water over a prison officer in a horrific assault at HMP Belmarsh.

The officer was rushed to Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Woolwich but escaped serious injury and was discharged the same day.

The Prison Service said: “Police are investigating an attack on a prison officer at HMP Belmarsh. “Violence in prison will not be tolerated and we will always push for the strongest possible punishment for attacks on our hard-working staff.”

Scotland Yard added: “The Met is investigating after a prison officer was subject to a serious assault at HMP Belmarsh on the afternoon of Thursday, 8 May.”

Axel Rudakubana is currently serving a minimum 52 year sentence for the murder of three girls in Southport who were at a Taylor Swift dance class.

He avoided a whole life order due to him being a minor (17) when he committed the crime, though the judge stated he is unlikely to ever see the light of day again

The Southport stabbings led to riots across the country and rifts in the UK socially.

Misinformation that was purposely spread on Twitter by the likes of Elon Musk claimed Axel to be an illegal Muslim migrant from Syria.

This led to social unrest and violence against people of colour, Muslims, Migrants and more.
